A whimsical fae creature conjuring a spell. This tattoo is loosely based on some fairytale books my client was reading at the time.

Jon absolutely blows me away with his talent and attention to detail. I expected an amazing tattoo going into my appointment, just based on his portfolio. What I didn’t expect was how kind and down to earth Jon is. He was understanding when I needed a break, was very encouraging through the entire process, and overall an absolute delight to work with. I am thrilled with the outcome of my piece and don’t hate when people stop me in the store to talk about it (which they do. Often.) I’m so happy to have this on my body for the rest of my life. Thank you, Jon!

Additional Works

  • I typically open my books once or twice per year. I will take around 15-20 new projects during this time. The more large scale projects I take, the less frequently my books will open.

  • I am usually booked out eight - twelve months in advance. When we book a project together we will scheudle all needed sessions at the time of the booking so you have a clear idea of your tattoo process.

  • I travel much less these days but sometimes you can find me attending a convention outside of North Carolina. Typically, you will be traveling to my studio for our sessions.

  • As long as it needs! Here's what that means: each project is tailored to the individual and can vary based on size, complexity, etc. For larger or more complex projects you can expect multiple sessions.

Once we determine the specifics of what you're hoping to achieve, we can get a better estimate on how long your project will take.

  • Each project is a custom quote based on the size and compplexity of the piece. Once we've agreed on the price and scope of work we'll set up a payment schedule, complete a work agreement, and execute a deposit.

  • The short answer is no. The introduction of numbing products into the tattoo industry resulted in some of the weirdest heals I've seen in nearly fifteen years of tattooing. While it's not guarnateed you'll have issues, they are common enough that I choose to not risk it and potentially compromise the quality of the finished tattoo.

  • The verrrrry short answer is: sometimes. It depends on a lot of things - namely my schedule.

  • Clients have my direct contact information. If you want to send me a general inquiry (regarding a project, a convention, a guest artist residency, etc) please click here to send me a message.
